recent aquisitions

I have been very lucky lately to be able to pick up a few lovely things for my letterpress business and also this lovely calendar by Lori Dean Dyment, Lori creates the most beautiful monotype prints and her Etsy shop is really worth a look. http://www.etsy.com/shop/DeanDymentStudios
She has been a solid favourite of mine since I first joined Etsy and remains to be so I adore her work.

My other two purchases have been a nice find, both used for shaving lead type one a straight edge the other for angle so that I can make mitred boarder frames.
I have also got a small book press on its way and some lovely 36pt type will post photos when they arrive.

  1. The little calenders look really lovely, but the other two 'aquisitions' are looking a bit intimidating! Glad you are outfitting your little business more and more though.

  2. Thanks for featuring my calendars. I'm jealous of your letterpress set up. I've never used one but when I see what can be done with one (like the things you have in your shop) I wish I had one too.
